What Bike Trials And Its Rules? BIKE TRIALS Bike Trials is a sport were you need good balance and the right bike if you haven’t got the correct bike most of the things Trials riders do with there bikes will be more or less impossible. A little about the bike. The trials bike is a totally different to a normal bike unlike mountain bikes the trials bike has a small cog sometimes no seat for less weight a trials bike also has very good brakes normally magura. There are all kinds of bike trial makes e.g. . Monty . Onza These are 4 of the best. . Megamo . Brisa Competitions In competitions there are a few rules, 1 dab: 1 point 2 dabs: 2 points 3 dab: 3 points another after that they give you a second chance. 5 dab: 5 points and also if you tack both feet off of the pedals or fall off also a 5. In comps the organises set out sections. Sections are obstacles you can hop up or off in a section you can have: Rocks Logs Crates Barrels Sharp Connors usually more then 90 degrees. There are also 4 different classes. Beginner (very easy) Novice (easy) Pro (hard) Expert (very hard) Pro’s In the bike trial world there are a lot of pro trials riders for example Ot Pi the world 20†bike trial champ from Spain he rides a Monty x-lite. More about the bikes. OnZa t-mag The OnZa t-mag is a very good bike and good for beginners and middle class riders all its parts are very good and all the bearings are sealed. It has a Cane Creek head set, OnZa bars, stem, rims, hubs and crank alms. The ride is excellent. “5†£500 The OnZa t-pro is also a grate bike with the same parts as the t-mag. When your riding the t-pro it feels like the back end is higher then the front but it’s easy to get use to. “4†£425 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RD 1 Cowm Quarry-Sept 2001 CHRIS AKRIGG WON. |
